This article may be the view point of the particular page maintainer.
There is another view what I read somewhere (do not know when and where;
"The rise and fall of the third reich??") says that it went to the west with
the migrating Gypsies and then Hitler got impressed with it when he was in
somewhere in a Scantinavian country or the countries in between Scantinavia
and Russia.
I do not know which one is right. Let Dr. JB speaks when he returns.
Another interesting thing is the last section is the article (christainity &

Bound to the mystic symbol of the Swastika .

The swastika is steeped in mysticism and wonder , dating back
thousands of years and found in many countries around the world.
It is a symbol of good luck prosperity and long life . It has most
probably been used around the world by peoples of different
cultures and religions and has even been found on Jewish
temples in Palestine dating back as far as 2000 years ago .
But the big question is , why did the Nazis ever choose the
swastika in the first place and what was the 'real' power behind
Nazism ? The answers to this and more, is so bizarre and so
strange that you won't find it in any school history lesson.
During the end of the 19 Century the Swastika was becoming very
popular due to increased interest in esoteric , archaic and occult
teachings in Europe. This revival of these teachings was purely
due to peoples disillusionment of the industrial revolution .
Industrial slums were being created and loss of identity and of the
old ways were being erased to this new way of life .
Progress was the key word, science was going to cure every
known disease , technology was going to create new wondrous
machines and democracy was going to bring the world into order.
All this contributed to the decline in traditional European
authority and placed it into the hands of , Industrialists and
financiers .
These new modern changes even brought into question the
validity of religious teachings and as it was soon to be dissected
by science .
During the 19 Century it was popular for disillusioned
Europeans to travel to Tibet . One such person was
Helena Patrova Blavatsky , a self confessed telepath
and psychic and the author of the book "Secret
Doctrine" . In this book she would claim , during her trip
to Tibet , she was taken to a secret room underneath a
Tibetan monastery where she was shown text of ancient
occultic and mystical secrets of the universe , which
outlined the future course of human history .
The text described how mankind was once pure spirit
but had fallen to base matter , darkness and chaos .
Helena Blavatsky then under went initiation using
esoteric symbols and learnt how mankind would once
again rise into it's pinnacle and reach 'pure spirit' form .
She claimed she was in constant telepathic contact with
her hidden masters , who in turn taught her the ways of
the occult history of the human race .
Blavatsky learnt that the most potent
symbol of these esoteric symbols was
the swastika . She wrote that there were
7 stages of evolution , she called them
route races . The race to begin again ,
from darkness to spirit she named ' Aryan. '
In Tibet the swastika was known as the "son of fire and
creation", in Madam Blovatsky's occult teachings the
Swastika was the symbol of Aryan .
Through Blavatskys occult teachings it was the
followers of her teachings that would introduce Austria
and Germany to the occult doctrine of the Aryan .
But Blavatsky was not 'the' person to bring the swastika
and occultism to the Europeans , that was left to a
another person named Guido Von List .
Von List was born in 1848
in Vienna , he said he was a
psychic and had visions of the past in which he was
initiated into the secrets of the ancient tutonic tribes .
Von List said he had visions that told him of a ancient
Germanic religion , the worship of the god Wotan . His
dream was to rediscover the secrets of the long
vanished occult heritage of the priesthood .
According to Norse legend
the God Wotan , leader of
the dead heroes of Valhalla had won by suffering , a
priceless piece of esoteric knowledge , he had
discovered the meaning of the runes .
List knew that the Runes were a crude early form of
writing , but he also believed that the runes had deep
esoteric meaning . He believed that the Runes were
the key to the occult knowledge of the ancient
Germanic peoples .
After the death of Von List
in 1919 , Runes would play a
significant part in National Socialist insignia and it was
compulsory for SS officers to learn the meanings of the
Runic symbols .
Von List used to say that the Swastika was "twice high
holy secret of constant generation , the swastika is the
very act of creation ", he based this on Norse legend
about the creation of the universe .
Von List by 1909 had now become very famous
throughout the German speaking lands . He has even
his own society dedicated to his occult teachings , it
was called the List society .
During the great war German and Austrian soldiers
wore amulets and good luck charms , the most
potent design carried the symbol of the swastika
based on List's very own designs . This popular
symbol was also becoming popular with militant
German nationalists .
But a more significant development had occurred
during the start of the great war , Von list had
incorporated the occult teachings of Madam
Helena Blavatsky into his own teachings of
German mythology . His new teachings now do
not teach of ancient Germanic tribes but he now
reffers to them as ARYANS. The Aryan ,
described by Blavatsky is " outward spiritual
evolution " .
Von list had already written down his vision for the
future of his new Germanic state , there would be
strict hierarchy , people would obey without
question , full rights only to the males of the family,
if you were Aryan you got full citizenship and you
had to prove you were of pure Aryan stock and it
was your duty not to taint this pure heritage .
After the war the German and Austrian people are
shamed by their defeat , the Versailles treaty
cripples Germany and sends it into a downward
spin towards a anarchy of warring factions . In 1919
Revolutionary Socialists republics are declared by
workers and soldiers .
Nationalists and Monarchists prepare a counter revolution .
But behind all these nationalists and monarchists lies a
conspiracy , a conspiracy run by a shadowy organization
called the Thule society . The Thule society was the Munich
lodge of the anti Semitic German order . The German order
followed the occult teachings of Guido Von List .
On November 9th the leader of 'Thule' gives a hasty
speech " Thule will fight until the Swastika rises out
victoriously from the icy darkness ." During the next
following months Thule stock piles weapons together with
other nationalists groups and trains men for the counter
revolution .
In April 30th 1919 the revolution is declared , Munich is
stormed and on the many helmets of the nationalist soldiers
bears the swastika . The revolution is a success and with
this success lays out the plans for the Germany of the
1920's where high powered supporters are lead into the
murky world of the esoteric teachings and that of the occult
world of Von list .
New lodges would be formed , one such Lodge
was named the Berlin Lodge . These lodges
would be adamantly anti Semitic and would have
members who were judges , lawyers , doctors
aristocrats and industrialists . They had to be
pure Aryan to join , they had to have blond hair ,
their eyes had to be blue or brown , their skin
had to be fair . In the Berlin Lodge , members
skull shape were even considered .
The master of the Thule lodge in 1818 now
wanted to expand Thule's influence and secretly
set up a "workers discussion group " .
The majority of it’s members did not know that
Thule was behind its formation . Then one day a
locksmith by the name of Anton Drexler
proposed that the Workers party be formed into
a new political group .
Thule agrees to this proposal .
On Jan 5th 1919 the workers party becomes
official and is so named the ' German Workers
party ' .
Ten months later a army spy is sent to check up
on this new political group , the spy's name is
Adolph Hitler . Within a few weeks Hitler
becomes a active member and in four months
the party is re named the National Socialist
German Workers Party .
On May the 20th 1920 the swastika was formally
adopted by the NSDAP and Hitler chose the anti
clockwise vertical version himself . Before then
the swastika was shown in any direction but it still
kept the same meaning . Guido Von Lists
original designed , curved Thule swastika ,
would not die out , but would be used on the
belt buckles of the ' Brown shirts '
During this time Charles Darwin was becoming
known and now it was possible for people to
explain why races were different and the
beliefs of the laws of inheritance was the key to
history . The success and victories of a nation
was all put down to the legacy of race , in
official Nazi doctrine it sates "Each race has its
soul and each soul has its race" .
The myth of the Aryan and the occult teachings
of Guido Von list and Madam Blavatsky was
now very popular spreading across Europe ,
the USA and UK . Swastikas are now a
common sight and used by many
organizations , an example is the above
picture of a woman's hockey team .
In the coming years Adolph Hitler would write
in new laws , these new laws would forbid
Aryans being involved with marriages with
Jews and other races . These laws would also
separate Germans into two categories , one
category for the full Aryan who would be a "full
citizens" and "subjects of the state" to those
who did not have a full Aryan heritage . Guido
Von Lists vision of the future has thus become
a reality .
To reinforce Aryan heritage ideas Hitler created a
archeology department which was used to go
round the world in search of traces of the great
ancient Aryan tribes . They went to places such as
Tibet , Rome and South America . They then
returned from these expeditions and declared that
all they have seen was created by ancient Aryan
civilizations and was products of the great Aryan
soul . What the German population was not told
was that most of the archeological digs in Europe
and around the world were fake , fake artifacts
were placed in digs and dug up by ‘ surprised ‘
nazis who a few hours earlier had buried them in
the dirt themselves . It was nothing but a elaborate
hoax .
Hitler now claimed that there were 3 categories of
the human race :
Founders , Maintainers and Destroyers of culture .
Hitler claimed that the 1st division described the
Aryan people .
By 1939 Christian symbols were now being
banned and Christmas was no longer to be called
Christmas , it was to be referred to the "Festival of
the light" . The words Christ , angels , shepherds
were banned from children’s books and replaced
by words such as emissaries of nature and the
power of the sun .
The new Holy day was the summer solstice and
was celebrated with fire incantations , this was the
new Nordic faith .
To preserve this Aryan race there had to be a
brotherhood to carry a untainted blood line , this
brother hood was called the SS . Each recruit had
to prove his Aryan ancestry as far back as 1750 ,
the entry criteria was so strict that men with fillings
in their teeth were even barred for joining .
The SS taught its men
racial biology and human
evolution . They had to learn the ancient occult
teachings of Aryan man , they had to be loyal to
the death . They were to be the incorruptible
guardians of the future Aryan race .
During the great war Guido Von List told of a
Nordic prophecy . "The strong one above ends
the faction he settles everything with fair design
what ever he ordains shall live forever " .
This prophecy might be chillingly true , nazism
might not have been defeated outright , but
merely reduced to it's occult origins , to the murky
world of secret societies , hiding behind
respectable facades of society , ready to emerge
once again .
