Search Facilities for use with Project Madurai etext collections
Since its launch in Jan 1998, Project Madurai has released etexts of more than 200 Tamil literary
works big and small. There is a growing need to have online tools that allow quick location of
etext of a given Tamil literary work or even to search for specific words occurrence in a given
Tamil literary works. Desires have
been expressed to do the search wherever possible natively in Tamil script format (in the same
TSCII encoding used for etexts). We are doing our best to provide tools that help search in this
manner. Following pointers give some directions in this regards. Visitors are
strongly encouraged to come forward and help us provide more tools of this kind.
